Recruiting is an all-important part of network marketing. It doesn’t have to be intimidating.
Think of it this way: there are two types of people you will be recruiting, your warm and cold market. Your warm market includes family, friends and people who know you. Your cold market is people you don’t know.
Recruiting the cold market can be a challenge. You might want to start recruiting your warm market first.
First, tackle your upline by scheduling a reception where you invite your warm market to a familiar environment. Don’t give any details with your invitation. Just tell your family, friends and trusted acquaintances that you’ve got a great opportunity and would like to show it off. Keep it that simple. You don’t want to get suckered into answering questions you don’t know the answers to yet, get into a situation that will doom your self-esteem and enthusiasm for the business. Let your upline answer all the questions, trust me.
At the reception, sit, smile and nod your head. Whenever possible build up your speakers, saying nice things about them; this edification will go a long way to swaying over your warm market.
