On a recent conference call with analysts, Herbalife CEO Michael Johnson said he is “looking at Brazil, somewhere in southeast Asia, probably India and eastern Europe,” as a site for manufacturing facilities as part of the company’s wider plan to produce 80% of its wares itself by the end of the decade.
Herbalife is a network marketing business with a publicly stated mission to triple volumes by 2020 as it continues to expand into emerging markets and expands its distributor base in mature markets through new products and concepts
