Two men who have helped Amway become a network marketing icon, Doug DeVos and Steve Van Andel, are the newest members of the Junior Achievement West Michigan Business Hall of Fame.
Their fathers founded Amway and were able to get the company profitable before retiring and turning the company over to their sons who have continued in the legendary footsteps of their fathers and furthered the company. A major recent performance by DeVos and Van Andel, who together form the office of the Chief Executive, was the breakout marketing of Amway in both India and China that increased the company’s annual revenue to $9.2 billion.
These giants of network marketing also make generous contributions to altruistic and community programs, and support up-and-coming companies in the multi-level marketing industry.
