So, I know that The Pampered Chef is a multi level marketing company. Is it a pyramid scheme? This mlm stuff seems pretty shady to me and I saw a lot of people saying that they were get rich quick scams. I once joined one of these companies to sell some guides to become an entrepreneur and the whole thing was a scam! How can I know that the Pampered Chef is any different from that? Is there any real proof that the company is legitimate and not a scam? I am definitely not joining one of these traps to lose my money ever again!

No, it’s not a pyramid scheme. In a typical pyramid scheme, there is no product to be sold. All the money comes from convincing other people to join. Most of the money that people get with this enterprise is by actual sales, so you can rest assured. This is a huge company. All the products exist. In fact, there are dozens of them.

Travis, The Pampered Chef is the largest direct sale company focused on kitchen equipment in the United States. It’s not a scam! Multi level marketing just means a way to sell things, not that it is a pyramid scheme. This company is owned by the Berkshire Hathaway, a holding corporation that existed for almost 200 years. If you don’t trust me, google it. If The Pampered Chef were a scam, it would not last for over 40 years and still be so big.

There is no way that The Pampered Chef is a scam. I worked with them for three years and all the money I made was from sales. Yeah, some people build teams and profit from the sales of other people, but I worked and supported my family mostly by just selling products. Just check the company and its owner online. Everything is legitimate.

MLM does not mean scam. There are some scammers who give us a bad rep, but it’s far from the truth. Most scammers offer incredible returns which are fake. The people at the pampered chef are sincere: you have to work to get paid. It’s a job, not a miraculous way to make money without effort. Pyramid schemes are illegal, do you think a company this big would be a scam?
