Yes, you need to write down your goals on paper. Making journaling one of those goals. Then you need to write down something that you are greatful for every day. Then Track your progress. Once a week or month look at your goals and see if you have been able to accomplish them.
I keep a recorder on me so I can record new goals as I think about them. Also I tend to record good or happy moments in my day to give me inspiration for when I get home I can write them down in my journal.
