Get a grip on the networking part of network marketing
Network. Marketing. Two words. Which carries more importance?
To start, a genuine network marketing prospect will want to focus more on the network side of the business than the marketing aspects. The major objective in a multi-level marketing business needs to be to expand, and include, your circle of friends and relatives and invite them to share in your business opportunity.
In building your network, consider the type of people you’re looking to attract. Usually you’ll be able to identify them as professional contacts or social contacts, and each have certain assets and strengths as a member of your “downline,” or team. A professional contact may have a shared business experience with you and should be interested in a money-making venture; a social contact probably already likes you and if only out of courtesy will consider an opportunity you offer.
Both types will want to know that you’re knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and capable of training and leading your team in the exciting world of MLM.
Welcome to networking!
